About the event
Tlalli Festival is a celebration of live music and ancient culinary traditions. It is dedicated to honouring and celebrating a multi-millenary-old connection that exists among the wide family of Indigenous Peoples across the Americas: from Guaranís in Brazil, Incas in Perú, Aztecs in México, to Six Nations in Canada and beyond. Tlalli means ‘earth' in the Aztecs’ language, Náhuatl. Tlalli offers the opportunity to ground and reconnect ourselves directly with the soil through a basic ancient element: food.
